Consent to have personal data processed by HOMAG Group AG

1. Consent

By applying for employment with HOMAG Group AG, you provide the company with your personal data related to the specific application in order to find the right job position. 
  
Your data is recorded and stored in the computer systems of our IT partner – Haufe Umantis AG.
  
2. Data protection and confidentiality
  
We attach great importance to the protection of personal data. 
  
HOMAG Group AG and its IT partner, Haufe Umantis AG, have taken the necessary organisational and technical measures to ensure confidentiality of your job application procedure. 
  
All employees of our HR department and our IT partner are required to keep personal data confidential by provisions in the employment contracts regulating their employment relationship 
  
Active automatic 128-bit encryption ensures secure transmission of your data. 
  
Your data is processed in compliance with common standards of data protection and the current state of technical knowledge.
  
3. Using your personal data 
  
During the recruitment procedure – in addition to the title Mr / Ms, names and surnames – the database with job applicants also stores standard correspondence data such as address, e-mail address and phone numbers.
  
We also store the documents supporting your job application such as the cover letter, résumé, certificates and diplomas confirming professional qualifications and training as well as certificates of employment. 
  
Such data is stored on system data carriers, subjected to relevant analysis, processed or passed on to other in-house units.
  
It is made available only to the employees of the HR department and the persons responsible for the selection of people employed by HOMAG Group AG. 
  
Your personal data is never disclosed to companies or persons outside the structure of HOMAG Group AG or used for other purposes.
  
The data may be processed for statistical purposes (e.g. corporate reporting). 
  
Thus processed, the data cannot be used to deduct information about specific
persons. 
  
You can always object to the planned use and processing of your data by our company. 
  
4. Right to be informed about stored personal data

By submitting a request for information, you may demand that only the data you have indicated be processed.
  
The request should be sent to our HR department.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. 
  
5. Recording Data on Carriers and Deletion of Data 
  
Once you start working for HOMAG Group AG, your personal data or its excerpt will be included in your personal file. 
  
If you applied for work and your application was rejected, your personal data will be stored on IT carriers for the period of about 3 months following the end of the recruitment procedure and then deleted (including your professional profile and job application). 
  
You will not be informed about the deletion of such data.
